Further Recognition for Livescribe Pulse Smartpen

Great news through this morning that Australian magazine PC Authority has recommended the Livescribe Pulse Smartpen. PC Authority is one of the highest circulating technology magazines in Australia. Known for their rigorous testing of new technology, receiving a Recommendation is high praise for the Pulse Smartpen. Tagged: Livescribe Pulse Smartpen, PC Authority, Pulse Smartpen

Ever wondered what’s Inside Your Smartpen?

Ever had the thought that maybe you could pull the pen apart to have a quick look inside? (please don’t). If you are interested then you may want to slip down to your local newsagent and pick up a copy of the October edition of APC Magazine. Inside the magazine in their ‘Exploding Tech’ section they have the Livescribe Pulse Smartpen – and all the smart bits exploded out for you. I don’t have a picture to share with you but I can say it’s pretty impressive. Tagged: ApC Magazine, livescribe, Pulse Smartpen

Livescribe 2GB + MyScript Offer Finishes – Should we bring it back?

Over the past few months we’ve been running a really great offer whereby the Livescribe Pulse 2GB Smartpen has been bundled with MyScript for Livescribe. Our regional distributor organised this for us and it’s been very successful (thanks John!). But all good things must come to an end – or do they? We’re currently investigating whether we extend the special offer or even create a special offer or special bundle. We need your feedback. If you purchased a Pulse Smartpen how important was it for MyScript to be included? Should we extend the offer? What are your thoughts? Tagged: 2GB,

Livescribe as a Virtual Sales Coach

Late last year we wrote about how one of our customers was using the Livescribe Pulse Smartpen as a sales training and coaching tool. Given the recent introduction of Pencasts from Livescribe, I caught up with David recently to let him know about this new feature. David is now National Sales Manager for Master Electricians. Being responsible for the hiring and training of the Master Electricians sales team David has similar needs to his previous position and is using the Pulse Smartpen the same way. Livescribe Pencasts are an exciting development for David as it allows him to build a

Livescribe @ Assistive Technology Forum – Day 2 Recap

Ahh Newcastle. Why have I not been back to your fine city for so long? Friday was the final day of the Assistive Technology Forum and I was looking forward to another cracking day showcasing Livescribe to the assembled delegates. Given this was the home town for the organiser I was expecting a great day – and they didn’t disappoint. You kind of forget that Newcastle’s like a big country town – so when you meet locals like Tony Wilks or Veronica McLoughlin – you realise how much you miss the country… As we experienced earlier in the week, visitors

Delays in Filling Orders

The past couple of weeks have been very busy for us. The downside is that what I consider to be a great level of service has slipped. Over the past 7 days we’ve dropped the ball in terms of getting our orders out on time and complete and as such I’d like to apologise to a number of our customers who’ve been adversely affected. There has been a major extenuating factor that has been outside our control but I won’t be using this isn’t an excuse. We could have done better. We’re disappointed that this has happened and I’d like

Livescribe @ Assistive Technology Forum – Day 1 Recap

Yesterday was day 1 of a 2-day, multi city event with Livescribe. In conjunction with Livescribe we’re exhibiting the Livescribe Pulse Smartpen at the biennial Assistive Technology Forum. Given we’re doing quite a bit of work with this segment I figured this was going to be a pretty cool day talking to a lot of great people who are doing wonderful things with students who don’t have the opportunity to learn like some of us – and I was right. The event was very well run and even though I’m not directly involved in Education I thought the speaker line

Livescribe – Feedback from the field

We received some great feedback from a customer late last week and given we are exhibiting at the Assistive Technologies Forum this week I thought it was good feedback to share Our customer originally bought a Livescribe pen for himself as a business tool. As most of us do with new toys he was showing his family and was impressed with how quickly one of his sons took to the technology. Given his son has a learning disability he sent him off to school with his pen. The impact was immediate and enough for his teachers to show considerable interest
